Quoting software for SAP
SAP quoting and order entry,
with your reps in control.
Plant buyers and contractors send RFQs and purchase orders using customer part numbers that your desk needs to match to SAP material numbers. ChannelFlex reads each one, checks the lines against your SAP materials and customers, and flags what it can't place. The rep resolves the flagged lines and approves the quotation, which becomes an order ready for SAP.

How it fits
From request to approved order for SAP
An RFQ can list a customer's part number where your desk needs an SAP material number. ChannelFlex checks the request against your material records.
The request reaches the desk
A plant buyer's RFQ, a contractor's bid list, or a purchase order for pipe, plate, wire, or tooling arrives as a PDF, a spreadsheet, or a photo. Email text works too. Route it to ChannelFlex from the rep's inbox or from a shared quotes mailbox.
Grade, size, and class, read off each line
A line that gives size and grade but no schedule, or a competitor number that fits two materials, is flagged with the reason. For the rest, ChannelFlex reads grade, size, and class off the line, cross-references competitor part numbers, and proposes an SAP material with a confidence score. Your rep corrects the flagged lines and approves the quotation.
An order ready for SAP
The approved quotation becomes an order ready for SAP, with the customer, material numbers, quantities, and units of measure on every line.

Questions
Questions about ChannelFlex and SAP.
No. SAP remains the system of record for materials, customers, pricing, and sales orders. ChannelFlex prepares the quotation from the incoming request and shows the rep which material matches need review.
Start with your material and customer records from SAP, and tell us about any material groups to leave out. A sales lead then checks the material matches, quantities, and units on the first draft quotations.
The early work is checking customer references, material descriptions, and units of measure against a few of your recent RFQs. Then your reps run their own RFQs through ChannelFlex and mark up the draft quotations line by line against the ones they already sent. Once a sales lead is happy with the material numbers, quantities, and units on the approved quotations, reps move to the day's real requests.
Your rep. The rep sees each matched line with its confidence score and each flagged line with the reason. On a PVF takeoff that's the valve with no class given. On an MRO request it's the competitor number that fits two materials. The rep resolves each one and approves. Until then, nothing goes to the customer.
The quotation becomes an order ready for SAP: one line per material number, with the customer, quantities, and units of measure filled in. ChannelFlex keeps the quotation and the rep's changes with the request, so any order line can be checked against the RFQ it came from.
