Quoting software for Epicor Eclipse
Eclipse quoting and order entry,
with your reps in control.
Fixture schedules, counter list photos, and contractor emails land at the branch all day. ChannelFlex reads each one, checks each line against your Eclipse items and the customer record, and flags what it can't place. Your inside sales rep reviews the draft quote, and when they approve it, the sales order is created in Eclipse without anyone at the branch retyping it.

How it fits
From request to approved order for Eclipse
A branch on Eclipse gets requests in several forms: a schedule off the plans, a photo from the counter, an email with half a part number. Each one goes through the same three steps.
The request arrives at the branch
A fixture schedule pulled off the plans. A photo of the counter list. A contractor's email with half a part number, or an RFQ with a spec on every line. Forward it to ChannelFlex, or route a shared mailbox so the desk never has to.
Eclipse item matches for your rep to review
A cross-reference, a nameplate model number, or a pipe line written as size, schedule, and ends: ChannelFlex checks each one against your Eclipse items and the customer record, scores the proposed match, and flags the lines it can't place with a reason. Your rep corrects those lines and approves the draft.
The sales order is created in Eclipse
ChannelFlex connects to Eclipse, so the approved quote becomes a sales order in Eclipse with the customer, items, and quantities on it. From there it's an ordinary Eclipse order, picked and shipped the way the branch already works.

Questions
Questions about ChannelFlex and Eclipse.
No. Eclipse stays the system of record for items, customers, pricing, branch inventory, and the order. ChannelFlex works on the request before it becomes an order, so your counter and inside sales desks keep using Eclipse the way they do now.
An API user with access to items, customers, and sales documents. Not every Eclipse license includes API access, so the first thing we do is help you confirm that with Epicor. After that, whoever administers Eclipse sets up the user and tells us which item groups to leave out, such as non-stock or discontinued items.
API access comes first, then a check of your Eclipse items: descriptions, cross-references, and the units you sell in. Then your reps forward real fixture schedules and counter lists and compare each draft's item matches, customer, and quantities with the request before approving. The branch decides when the drafts are ready to quote from.
Your rep. The inside sales or counter rep sees the Eclipse item behind each line and its confidence score, with the reason next to anything flagged: a fixture tag with no model, a cross-reference that fits two items. Nothing is written to Eclipse until the rep approves.
ChannelFlex creates the sales order in Eclipse with the customer, items, and quantities on it, and the branch picks and ships it like any other order. The request keeps the original document, the rep's changes, and the Eclipse order number, so anyone can trace a line back to what the contractor asked for.
